Many of our pastures have water developments so th

Many of our pastures have water developments so that the animals are watering from a water trough. We have some gravity systems that the water flows downhill into a water trough with a float so the animals have access to clean water, away from the natural water source, such as a dugout or pond. The pond or dugout is then fenced to keep the cattle out of that area. The vegetation around the dugout/pound then helps to retain and filter water. This is extra important on dry years, like this year.

We are very excited to have purchased some females

We are very excited to have purchased some females from @cayleycattleco. Many of these females go back to the great CB 122L Lady B 222Z and WLB 36N Beth ET 452S. These females are going to be a great addition to our purebred herd. We are extremely excited for the 2025 calving season and show season. You will see some of these females and/or their calves at shows next year. We will slowly introduce them as we get photos of them. For now, they are settling in at their new home. We are very thankful to Cayley for this opportunity.

The dust has now settled on another amazing Interi

The dust has now settled on another amazing Interior Provincial Exhibition & Stampede in Armstrong. We spent 5 days displaying our cattle, visiting with the other beef exhibitors, and visiting with the public who walked through the barn full of cattle. We had a wonderful time showing the cattle in the youth show, Hereford show and the futurity class. Thank you to all the IPE organizers and specifically Lawrna Myers for all her long days of organizing the beef division.
