OSR Beef Stew
A delicious stew for cold winter evenings.

- 2 lbs stew meat
- 1 tbsp Montreal steak spice
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 onions
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 4-5 carrots
Cut up the onions and mince garlic.
In a roasting pan, add some butter and brown the stew meat with the onions and garlic. Sprinkle in some Montreal steak spice.
Add the tomato paste and stir.
Slowly add the beef broth while mixing.
Add Worcestershire sauce and sugar. Bring it all to a boil.
Reduce heat to low.
Simmer for 1.5 hours.
Add carrots and then simmer for another 30-45 minutes. Add more broth if neccessary.
Season with salt and pepper and servce over mashed potatoes.
