Happy New Year! Hope you had a safe and wonderful holiday season. Thank you to all of our customers for your continuous support. We had a very successful 2020 and we are looking forward to this year! Raise your hand if 2020 looked anything like the plans you made for it at the end of last year! Yeah? Us neither. But you know what? We learned adaptation is the key to making it in an ever-changing world.
Stocked Up On Beef
During the holidays, we had a fun family drive to pick up more beef so we are completely stocked again! We have lean ground beef, beef breakfast sausages, beef jerky, mixed bags and mixed boxes of beef available. We are doing another delivery in Kamloops this Friday. For 2021, we plan to deliver within Kamloops every Friday, with the odd exception which we will inform you of.
Beautiful Weather
What a beautiful month we have had so far! The fog and the sun made for some gorgeous photos earlier this week. So far this month, we have taken a few afternoons to go skiing and we have celebrated a couple birthdays in the family.
Halter Breaking
We also started to halter break the two steers that our youngest generation has chosen to work with and hopefully show next summer. They each have such a unique personality. I am sure you will get to know them better on our daily stories. Over the next two months, we will be teaching them to lead and the boys will start to train their hair coats. Which is your favourite?
Enjoy the Little Moments
Every day is full of micro-moments of joy, like watching a beautiful sunset, cuddles on the couch watching your favourite television show or the few minutes of fun when walking down to do chores with the boys every morning, you just have to be looking for them.
Sometimes we get so consumed with living life, that we forget to enjoy the little moments. Evenings, like last night, are our reminder to treasure every moment because time goes by way too fast. Within every moment, there is something special. It just takes finding it, by slowing down and appreciating the life we are living.
