Perfect for a cold day! I like to let it simmer on the stove for a couple hours prior to supper.

OSR Beef Stew
 A delicious stew for cold winter evenings.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs stew meat
 - 1 tbsp Montreal steak spice
 - 1 tbsp butter
 - 2 onions
 - 2-3 garlic cloves
 - 1/2 cup tomato paste
 - 4 cups beef broth
 - 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
 - 1/2 tsp sugar
 - 4-5 carrots
 
Instructions
- Cut up the onions and mince garlic.
 - In a roasting pan, add some butter and brown the stew meat with the onions and garlic. Sprinkle in some Montreal steak spice.
 - Add the tomato paste and stir.
 - Slowly add the beef broth while mixing.
 - Add Worcestershire sauce and sugar. Bring it all to a boil.
 - Reduce heat to low.
 - Simmer for 1.5 hours.
 - Add carrots and then simmer for another 30-45 minutes. Add more broth if neccessary.
 - Season with salt and pepper and servce over mashed potatoes.
